World’s most expensive Vertu Signature Cobra phone launched at $360,000

The Luxury phone maker Vertu has officially launched its latest, Vertu Signature Cobra Limited Edition, for high-price of $360,000 (approx Rs 2.3 Crores). For this huge value, you get a phone coated with 439 rubies, featuring a cobra figure tangled around its body. Two emeralds make up the snake’s eyes. The phone is handmade in the UK in collaboration with French jewelry brand Boucheron and uses 388 different parts. So far, only 8 units of the Vertu Signature Cobra have been manufactured.

Vertu Signature Cobra Limited Edition is just a feature phone and not a Smartphone. As for the specifications, the Vertu Signature Cobra packs a 2-inch QVGA display with a resolution of 240 x 320 TFT LCD display which is protected by sapphire crystal. The device offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and comes with a removable battery and a talk-time of 5 and half hours.

Interested buyers can purchase the device on the Chinese e-commerce portal, and customers can even pre-book the phone with an additional charge of $145. And when it’s time for delivery, keep your gaze fixed skywards, since the phone will reach you by helicopter.
